Have a 2022 GX luxury trim but have a potential to get a 2023 but it is only a premium trim. Anyone know if the seats are better in the 23 v older models. The leather is upgraded but don’t know ab the 23 premium trim

 

Only the Luxury comes with semi-aniline leather. All other trims come with Nuluxe.

 

... assume the question is about the seat comfort ... not the covering material ...

I’m no expert but, from my test drives and reading this forum over the years, the seats (frame and padding) themselves are the exact same. If you find the driver’s seat uncomfortable, as I did, get the seat jacks that elevate the front parts of the front seats. They completely changed my opinion and desire to drive the GX,

My updated 13 has the nicer leather in black. My wife’s fully loaded 17 with the Luxury and ML system, as the same seat. Drove that for three hours after having the seat jacks in mine and ordered hers that day. The 22 GX I test drove recently had the Nuluxe stuff and same seat. Nothing has changed about the seat frame or switches. On the test drive, i was certain that I’d not want to drive it home from dealer as the seat is just awful (for me) withouth the spacers allowing me to get comfortable ini them.
