Curious the experience others have had between the Ottocast U2-AIR and the Carlinkit 5.0 (2air)..
I have been testing both latest Carlinkit 5.0 (2air) and Ottocast U2-AIR. The Carlinkit seems to be a lot more stable than Ottocast due to (it doesn't always auto connect to phone, startup screen hangs, etc). However the Ottocast does seems to be slightly faster when you skip songs and with Ottocast I can hold down fwd button on steering wheel and it can actually fast fwd through the active song in CarPlay where as the Carlinkit can’t for whatever reason.
At this point given the hit or miss performance of the Ottocast the Carlinkit 5.0 seems to be the recommendation.... I will continue to test both going on week 2 testing in a new 2023 GX.
Recommendation: Carlinkit 5.0 (2air)

I've done the Car2Play adapter on my UX and it's been good. Occasionally it won't connect but generally it's reliable and stable. Never tried any others. My GX is too old to have CarPlay but I'll do the beatsonic setup at some point.

I've tried both AAwireless and Carlinkit for wireless Android Auto in the NX450h+. The AAwireless worked flawlessly for several months last year but then suddenly stopped connecting and despite lengthy troubleshooting from the developer no luck. So I've purchased a Carlinkit and it won't even get through the connection process. My guess is it's to do with the Lexus end as I have Carlinkit in my other vehicle&it works perfectly. Any ideas?

@Hrocks can you share your settings with you 23" GX?
1. Search for the box's WiFi (Autokit_**) on your mobile phone and enter the password 12345678.
2. Once successfully connected, open your browser and visit 192.168.50.2 to access the background settings.
Curious what your Category and Media delay settings are set at...
My settings
Category is set at CD
Media set at 1400 MS
Thanks
