I've got a 2021 GX. I routinely have a bike rack or trailer off the back and the "something's in the way" tone when in reverse is driving me nuts. Is there a way to mute this?

just go to the setting and turn the Parking Assistant off. I don’t think that you can turn off the only rear ones, it will be for both front and rear. For 2021, I think the setting is in the cluster multi-display, not the informative center screen.

I don’t want to turn it off, or turn it off/on every time. I’m hoping for a temporary “mute” but not optomistic.

I just press the button with the "dot" in the middle on the right side of the steering wheel to mute the back up warning tone when I have the boat hooked up.
