Hi folks,
So I've been hit with the bug of these vehicles, after my beloved MDX has bitten the dust. Yesterday, I posted in the 1st Gen forum about a 2007 GX470 I've seen online - just beautiful, and I've gotten some good advice, so please excuse another post here about a new car (well, 2014) I've happened upon
I've come upon a 2014 GX460 with around 100K. VERY nice service records, the carfax checks out, and it seems pretty solid. It gets slightly better MPG than the 2007, which is important in convincing my wife, who is on her second hybrid Toyota. MPG is actually only a tiny bit worse than my 2004 MDX. Any opinions about this car - what can I expect in every sense: reliability, repairs, comfort, etc., and as it relates to the 2007 I'm also considering?
Thanks so much in advance. I'm not a young man, have been buying used cars my whole life, and this is a new frontier for me...

I don't know how much you want to spend, but if a clean and well maintained '14 is in your price range, I wouldn't worry about issues. I would try to find the newest, maintenance documented GX that you can afford. The GX 460 is arguably the best quality vehicle on the road. It has been consistently ranked at the top of near luxury SUV's since it's inception. If well maintained, these will easily run 300k.
