2023 GX460 Windshield Replacement

I think what we have discovered is
2020+ windshield went acoustic and front side windows added acoustic as well in 2021
2020 went standard with "Standard Lexus Safety System+ (pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert, automatic high beams, and radar-based adaptive cruise control)"
2010-2019 there are variations due to fact of models equipped with Driver Support Package or 10-13 models with Lane Departure camera

FWIW, I usually insist on Pilkington as it's the OEM for Toyota/Lexus (and other manufacturers) and have always had good luck with them on Lexus.
But the last time my GX needed a windshield, there was a screwup with the windshield company I normally use. I was very insistent on what brand I was going to use. After just a lot of arguing, I ended up just deciding to take the Fuyao they had delivered since this was during the Covid era and I needed it. Considering how many windshields this car seems to eat, I figured it wouldnt be on long anyway. I will say though, the Fuyao was made in the USA and if anything has held up better than what was the OEM that had a massive crack along the windshield within the first year. Have not noticed any optical anomolies.
