coolant leak driver's side rear near heads
My 2013 lexus gx 460 was running hot intermittently. I thought it was the fan clutch
The mechanic said the clutch was good. However, it was low on coolant. He had to purge some air out and refill the system.
He said that there was a coolant leak coming from the rear of the engine near the driver's side. There is a tube there that appears to be for coolant right under the the cylinder head. He could not tell if it was leaking from a heat exchanger of from the head gasket. He said their was crusty pink coolant about the size of a quarter in the area
He could not get in there with a camera but had a stock photo that I've attached.
