My wife loves it and I enjoy it to....Had it for 1 month and 4000 miles on it.....runs great and would not think the same on a base model as we have the Premium model with all the extras and that makes a huge difference.......Good luck

aww....I hope I didnt make a mistake buy getting the base. I did get the comfort package, leveling hids, convenience package, and semi aniline leather package,hdd gps, I can still back out but I really dont want to exceed 63000 with taxes etc, I would rather get a lx personally.

Yes, the LX is nice, but I've driven the base GX with the options you have and it's pretty nice too.

What int/ext color combination did you get?

We got the base (Black / ecru) + extras and it came out to $58K and so far it's great eventhough we only have 600 miles. The Kdss handling, ride and comfort is second to none. I prefer the rear end of the GX460 over the GX470 because the later looked like it would flip over. The interior finishes are nice and gen. 6 navigation / voice command is awesome.

I have black on black. detailing is my hobby so i dont mind the extra upkeep of a black vehicle

Congratulations on your car! Do you like the look without the chrome trim? would you have rather had it if it was a choice?

Ive tried to search this online but have not found much info,
ventilated seats....is it air conditioned???? will it blow cool air in the summer??? who has this option and has experimented with it?

It's like the RX... ventilated, they just blow air. No active cooling elements.

I got a question: does the smart key unlock only the driver's side door when I put my hand around the handle, or it unlocks all doors when I walk close to the car? I didn't experiment with that feature when I was test driving.

The default is for it to only unlock the driver's side door, but you can change that with personalized settings.

How long will it take for you to get your GX?

Did your dealer have your preferred colors/options available?

For the personalized settings, is it a hack or it's located in the multifunction display? Bear with me here, the Lexus technology I'm currently using is from 11 years ago.

The dealer here have only the Ultra Premiums in stock, but I wanted the Premium Package only. I guy I dealt with is going to order one in for me, and he said it's going to take 2 months. The color is Tungsten Pearl with Black interior.

The personalized settings can be changed through your NAV screen or by the dealer. Your dealer will give you a list of all the settings that can be changed.

Yes, this is a new thing for 2010 for many Lexus models, no need to see dealer for many of these settings. It's about time, I could do this on the 'Info Center' on my old Grand Cherokee 10 years ago without having to visit big brother!
