First time Lexus owner located in Minnesnowta. I purchased a 2010 GX460 with 96,000 miles today. I had a pre purchase inspection done by the local Toyota dealership prior to purchasing. I don't know that I got a great inspection but they assured me that there was no leaks at the transfer case or at the timing chain cover. Also the car came from Pa and had a decent service record with the air injection pump being replaced. I didn't feel great paying $23k for a 2010 with almost 100k miles, but car prices right now are crazy and I think it's going to be a really solid truck for a long time. Anyway thank you for the knowledge that has been shared here and looking forward to putting some miles on this GX.

I jumped on it and today I drove it home. We are under tornado warnings and severe thunder storms so tomorrow I will take it for a ride. Has everything I wanted with the Premium Package, all weather mats, cross bars for the roof rails, etc. What else came with it was tonneau cover, cargo net and heated steering wheel. I probably won't use the cargo net at all and the tonneau cover very little. The heated steering wheel will be nice this winter. I am a happy camper now with my new GX sitting in my garage.
This is a little late but I want to post a couple of pics of my GX. Took these when I got home from the dealer.

Hey, I'm super sorry for not checking this thread earlier. Between all the Holidays and gotten sick with covid I'm behind on everything these days. I know you probably already have your 22 GX, but I'll respond anyway. Cross bars cost me $240 shipped and installation was easy. Dealer asked for a whopping $700 ($350 for the bars and rest for install) so I told them to pound sand. Just out of curiosity what did it cost you to get them installed by the dealer?

Total cost was $300. They did not break down the cost of the bars and the labor to install. They just added $300 for the cross bars to the MSRP at closing.

That was extremely reasonable! Glad it worked out so well for you!

Hello fellow GX owners and enthusiasts. I have made the transition from dreamer to owner myself. Ordered the GX on December 28, 2021, (ordered = placed a deposit with a dealer). Took delivery on February 11, 2022. Atomic Silver, black interior, ML and off-road. MSRP (with a bunch of port added accessories, including the console safe - but no hitch) and no up charges. Well worth the wait. Next up is XPEL and then a road trip.

Default New Owner

2010 GX
Premium and Luxury
Black Onyx and Ecru
Nav/ML, RSES, IPA, AVS, KDSS
Florida owned, 117k, 4th owner.

Got out of a 09 Rav4 Limited V6 AWD 189k after 6 trouble free years. 2in lift 235/70/17 Coopers and numerous other mods. Great SUV but with the amount of driving I do I was looking for more comfort and aftermarket support. Looking forward to the modifications.

Out with the old

In with the new. Kind of a natural progression.

Needs mats

Nice GX! Perfect mileage too though depending on the service records, you may be about due to some various service items. Spark plugs, drive train fluids, tranny drain and fill, coolant flush, etc. All are pretty easy to do and are well-documented here on this forum.

Hello All!

So with that being said there are now 2 in our garage.
2017 GX460 Black. Premium. NAV. No ML
2012 GX460 White. Premium. NAV. No ML

I have lurked for quite sometime now as we have had the black GX for a little over a year and have enjoyed it immensely.

Default Picked up a '22 Nori Green Blackline

I just picked up this Nori Green GX, love the color - pictures don't do it justice. I have it at the shop now getting tints and ceramic coating. After that, I need to figure out a lift, wheels, tires, roof rack etc. I will post update pictures here if you guys are interested.
