New GX owner
Hello everyone!
Three weeks ago I got my first GX and I absolutely LOVE it. It is 2017 premium, starfire pearl with ecru interior, a few extras like BSM, park assist, navigation, tow hitch. Got a great deal on it, $5700 off MSRP. Bought it through an auto broker. Want to say thank you to everyone for their posts, helped me a lot in my research. Had to do my "homework" before we pulled the trigger on it. I drove a 4Runner for 11 years, loved it, still have it, just upgraded it to a GX.
Any recomendations on leather care would be appreciated. Thanks again.

Hi everyone, just picked up a 2015 GX with 9k miles as our family truck after 4 years in a 2014 4Runner. Looking forward to learning much more about this truck on this forum, and hopefully many years of ownership!!

2017 GX 460 Premium
Hello Club Lexus! We just bought a 2017 GX 460 Premium - Nebula Gray Pearl, Black Interior
It has all of the options possible:
Blind Spot Monitor
Tow Hitch
etc.
It's hard for me to put into words how excited I am. i have owned an LX 450 and two Toyota pickup trucks and loved them all. I recently owned a Buick Enclave and liked it a lot, but had a lot of major maintenance problems. I am so excited to be back in a Lexus. We live in San Francisco, and I am pretty sure that I am going to go with the independent shop for maintenance and buy an extended warranty from the folks recommended here on the forum.
Best to all of you!
Michael

Welcome to CL. Also get a bottle of Cockpit Premium for the dashboard, interiors and back panel plastic. Nice matt finish without the shine. 👍

Afternoon everyone, just picked up a 2017 GX460 Lux Sport for the wife. Loving the car so far and got a great deal, right around $11k off selling price. I won't boast too much as this was also a deal directly with the GSM. Just ordered all LED lights for interior and exterior, and have a few things I'm considering and would like some input or references.
- It seems that all the "Sport" models come with the red tail lights. Is there someone on here that would like to trade the clear for the red? Is there an aftermarket for the clear type?
- Has anyone had success with roof cargo boxes. Yea, it's a seven seater, but it's as if Lexus envisioned the 3rd row passengers to be buried in luggage.
- We did not get the load-leveling rear system, so that being said, I'd like to lower the car about an 1" in the front, and 1.5-2" in the rear for a nice clean leveled look which complements the "agressive-ness" that comes with the sport appearance.
- In regards to lowering, do any of you have recommendations for a wheel/tire or just tire that fills in the "gap", or any for sale?
Lastly, the only things that really irk me about the vehicle and brings to mind "cost-cutting" are the absence of Bi-Xenon's in the headlights, halogen bulbs in many places, the difference of the lower front grille (mesh) vs upper (bar), and only a single exhaust. Perhaps the exhaust choice serves some type of function I'm unaware of, but nice dual exhausts would make the rear "pop". In any case, the "truck" is awesome, and is a welcomed upgrade coming from an RC-Fsport that was a lease return.

Mi1lion: Congrats!!!
You must have a Premium Model with the Sport Design Package. I see that can be built here.

Edit: Nevermind. I see that you've already been corrected. It's a premium, not a luxury.
