Just picked up a 2012 Premium yesterday. Tungsten Pearl over Ecru, navigation with Mark Levinson, and chrome factory rims. 104k miles on it, but it presents well and drives great. Currently has newer Cooper tires which are a bit noisy and not suited for our needs so they will be replaced sooner than later.
A bit of a quick back story. We had a 2004 Ford Excursion that we loved but the wife recently totaled it so we were in the market for another large SUV. We didn't want another domestic offering and European ones make me nervous as the mileage goes up, so choosing the Lexus was a no-brainer. The Infiniti Qwhatever and the Nissan Armada never even came across the radar. We were hoping to find a GX with black interior, though that wasn't a complete deal breaker... not having the ML stereo was a deal breaker.
Anyways, just a quick introduction. I'll probably start a separate build thread as I've never been one to just leave a vehicle stock.
Maybe i'm nuts, but I would have been terrified to buy a Tahoe/Yukon with 100,000 miles on it.....
I DID THAT! Bought one for my daughter (It was her DREAM vehicle) 113,000 mi 2008 Tahoe Original Owner was Owner of GM Certified Shop. Asked 11K and was reduced because the paint job looked like it had water spots on it. I used a wet rag and they did not come off. It was not etched into the paint, but something on top of it. Bargained down to $10,250. Took it to detail shop and they got it off for $400. That was 2014. A 6yr old well maintained (engine compartment looked showroom new), LOADED Tahoe, for <11K. She's pushing 150K mi on it now and no problems other than a battery.
Traub, it depends on the year model... CarComplaints.com showed the '07 was a dog compared to the '08. The '08 model had the least complaints of ANY Tahoe model year. (If my memory is correct)

Just last December, I bought a new 2017 Audi SQ5 (also pictured). It was fast as a rocket and fun to drive but after just a few months, I ended just not liking it. Almost hating it. It just wasn't what I needed.
Long before I could afford one, I remember seeing an early first gen GX at the Lexus dealer—probably 2004 or so—and told myself that I was going to own one of those some day. I’ve always loved them. Since then, I’ve had a couple 4Runners as well as a Touareg TDI (good rig; TDI power and fuel economy was amazing but ended up with a few other problems in addition to the VW TDI scandal). But deep down I still wanted that GX.
Finally, after several several weeks of anguish, I decided to bite the bullet and go ahead and just take the financial bath on the SQ5 and start shopping for a GX. Long story, short, I ended up taking home a 2017 Luxury in Nighfall Mica that weekend.
One of my main decision points was that I could only get summer rated tires for the 21” rims on the SQ5 that turn rock hard when cold (think skateboard wheels). Definitely not snow worthy. Now, I'm really looking forward to taking the GX to the snow up in Tahoe confidently as well as lots of long road trips with the family in comfort.
Now, 5 weeks and 2000+ miles into the GX, my only regret is that didn’t skip the SQ5. Love it.
19 miles on it as when I got it. Out with the 'old' in with the new. 3 weeks old.

We just purchased a 2017 GX460 Premium with NAV/ML Audio. It is Claret Mica with the Ecru interior. The lease on our IS350 FSport was up, and we wanted to get back into an SUV.
We are moving from Seattle to Florida in a few months and are going to condense our lives into a u-haul trailer and make the drive.
