Hello! ^__^
Hello, Club Lexus!
I just finished phase 1 of my GX Off-Roader project. It's a Black 2010 GX Premium. It is mostly stock with a few modifications. I know it may look shiny and pretty, but there is a ton of pin striping down the side.
Current Modifications:
1. Blacked factory wheels on BFG K02's 275/65/18
2. Roof rack with 270 degree LED lighting in 3 separate zones
3. ARB front skid plate with aftermarket radiator protection (Already learned the hard way on this one)
4. LED Low beams/Hi Beams and Fog Lights
Planned Modifications:
1. Aftermarket suspension (If/When the air ride finally gives out)
2. Thinner running boards
3. Full skid plates down the whole bottom
4. Potentially adding crawl control (If that isn't too hard)
5.Pusher bar or new front bumper
I have yet to find something I couldn't go over or into, who says offroading can't be comfy and quiet.

Just bought a 2011 GX460
Just bought a 2011 GX460, I currently own a RX 300 and RX350
144000 miles on it with new Yokohamas .
Its the base model Black ext and white int.
Rides better than the RX350 , thats for sure.
May make my Nashville driving a little easier to handle.

Hello
After doing a lot of research and contemplating my next vehicle purchase I found a low mileage GX on line. I have had it two months now and i really like this vehicle. I travel a lot in my career either driving and or flying. I wanted an SUV that offered me a comfortable / quiet ride, was dependable and was capable to go when I wanted to go regardless of the weather or road conditions.
I have:
Year: 2016
Model: GX460 Premium
Exterior / Interior: Black Black
Options: F Sport Wheels, Navigation, Wood/Leather Trim
Mileage at Purchase: 14000

new owner needs help
I am in process of buying 2016 Lexus GX 460 Lux. Need your help / opinion on price. This lexus is at a Toyota dealer not Lexus so not certified with 34K miles, hwo much you think it's worth? Second should I buy Extended warranty, I am hoping it's lexus so should not have any issues mechanically but I have never owned one before.
Lastly I noticed there are no usb or 12V ports on the second row or am i looking at the wrong place?
Ohh and what is 2nd Start?

Hello folks!!
I'm picking up this '15 Saturday
And getting out from this '06
I know, I know, same color
And the white obsession goes back to this one

Just picked up a 2017 Nebula Grey Pearl Base with Black interior, 22K on it. Was looking at 4Runner limiteds but wife suggested GX460. The price was right and 4Runner cost more and had less equipment. Still currently have my 2000 4Runner Highlander edition for the time being. Loving it so far, solid vehicle, no regrets moving on from a 4Runner.

Just bought.
1st time poster.
2011 gx460 premium pckg.
133k miles
black/black
seems to have every possible option
rear DVD player
22” wheels
Florida car
think I’m going to get some 18” or 20” with some A/T tires for winter months, and keep these for summer. I typically would not have bought 22” wheels.

Here's our new 2019 GX460 in "Silver Lining". Just picked her up on Saturday and very happy. I just had the front windows tinted yesterday to match the rears.
She makes a nice pair in the garage with the wife's 2014 LS460 in a similar silver tone. Amazing how the 2014 LS has so many more bells/whistles! I wish the GX had her auto parking brake and mirrors that fold when locking...

Hey Guys!
Loving the forum so far, very helpful!
Just got my Lexus GX470 last week, upgraded from a 4runner.
Its a 2003 with 160k, Dorado Gold Pearl and Ivory interior with nav.
So far Loving my truck! Looked at a newer 4runner but no V8 so I made the switch, couldn't be happier!
So far, changed the oil and filter. That's when I noticed the skid plate situation. Two bolts sheared off in the frame, the rest missing for the front. I drilled the two out, tapped the holes and got 4 of the bolts in. Good to go, but then it seems I'm missing two other skids? maybe something in front of the front skid? Is there 3 under there? Not sure what I'm missing. I know I'm missing the second one with the hole to access the oil drain pan, right? What else am I missing? Does anyone happen to have a pic of what I should be seeing in front of the skid (where it ties into the plastic pieces that hang down) and of behind the first skid?

Hi All,
Just made a huge upgrade from a 3rd gen 4Runner to this 2016 beast. So far I'm loving it. I've had for a few weeks now; have had the windows tinted and ceramic coat applied. Hoping to take it out exploring soon! Needs some A/T's before the end of the year.
