Hey guys, long time lurker as well, but never introduced myself.
Name's TJ, Live in the Los Angeles area. Bought a 2014 premium with 22K miles in mid 2017, currently has 46K miles.
Family owns a Prado on the other side of the world, main reason why we bought a GX.
Recently did the 2020 grill swap and looking forward to doing more mods in the near future.

Picked up my GX!
1. 2020 GX460 Luxury Package
3. Starfire Pearl with Rioja Red interior
2. Navigation & Mark Levinson (love it)
4. All the bells & whistles
I drove an Infiniti QX60, I leased the vehicle and my lease contract is up, & I Just picked up my GX, we put in this custom order in January and it arrived on 4/24. I just gave birth on 4/13 so this arrived just in time! I initially wanted just a basic GX but hubby got very excited and we went from basic to luxury package lol he’s very excited about the offroad package. My favorite part about this vehicle is the red interior, absolutely beautiful!

Hello folks. Been in the GX family for a few years now, finally introducing myself. Name is Paul Vang from St. Paul, Minnesota. Have a 06 470 but she's getting old, 246k and rusty as rusty can get! So I jump the gun on a nice clean 2010 GX460 from the south and I'm loving it! I regret not buying once and crying once so this time around I'll be crying a bit more. Good to see the GX family growing, glad to be a part of it all! Hope to catch some of you on the trail sometime.

Welcome!
Welcome to Lexus Forums! I have been a Lexus owner for 11 years now and love the dependability of Lexus. I too, just purchased a 2010 GX460 Premium last September with 63k on it. Fortunately I knew the owner that traded it in and bought it immediately. Drove it to our SW Florida home in January and that is where it now resides! But my long trip was comfortable. I used premium fuel and got 19-20 mpg keeping speed at 65-70. If I have to buy any new parts I check with Dan at parts.belllexusnorthscottsdale.com I am pretty sure they advertise on Lexus Forums.
Whenever I have a mechanical or electrical question I ask the guys on Lexus Forums(GX 2nd Gen) for advice.
My 460 happened to owned by the elderly father of a corporation who spent winters in CA. It was in great condition. The first remodel I did was switch out all of interior lights which were about 12 to LED's. WOW! What a difference. I have not touched, nor do I want to touch the exterior lights. On my 2009 and 2016 Lexus' I have not had to ever change an exterior light. I realize they may not be quite as bright but I do not want to invite trouble to my exterior lights when they are very reliable. Others may have different opinions.
I also tinted the rest of the windows that were not tinted.
Hope you continue to enjoy your 460. Good luck and once again...welcome.

Howdy from CO
Picked this up last week for a dedicated trail pig. My wife was concerned that I was beating up my Tundra. Anyways here is a list of what it has, what it is and what it will have in the future.
Currently:
2010 GX460 Premium
1H9 Nebula Grey
117,0001ish miles
Coastal Off Road front and rear bumpers
Coastal Offroad weld on sliders
Smitybilt 9.5k winch
Vors Bronze 17x8 wheels
285/70/17 BFG KO2s
1.5" lift in the front
About 1" to 1.5" Bilsteins and OME springs in the rear
Future:
OME lift front and rear. I'm an OME fanboy!
SPC UCAs
4.56 gears with a true rear LSD possibly in the front as well. Need to research for the front.
Onboard air
A good sounding exhaust
Some pictures

I am absolutely new to the Lexus GX series. I’ve been 4-wheeling for many years starting with a 1980 Bronco which I rebuilt, several times in different iterations including a 473ci 600HP engine that was still a daily driver. I moved to ATVs and an F250 diesel, then added a Jeep Wrangler that I lifted and customized, and added all the usual 4 wheeling gear.
I had a need to consolidate but maintain capabilities so I sold the Jeep, which couldn’t tow anything, and the F250 which could haul/tow anything but was too large for the wife to handle and the ATV is being prepped for sale.
The result was a 2015 Pearl white GX460 with Brown interior, NAV, and no RSES. I’m in the process of installing a 2.5” ironman lift with Foam shocks, Ironman front bumper and winch.
When that’s done the next step will be tires/wheels. I’ve had really good luck with Toyos on the tiny Jeep and the Huge Ford but I am reading here and learning. The Ford ate BFG AT IIs up in 29,000 Miles I used to love them but they just didn’t wear on a large vehicle, that’s why I’m interested in actual experience on a GX.
Any suggestions/comments/experience is truly appreciated.
The picture is how I got it.

2011 gx 460
Just picked up a 2011 GX 460 with 91,000 miles. 2 owners with all service records from local Lexus dealership and recalls completed. Interior and exterior are in great condition.
Looking forward to adding some overland pieces to it soon. Tires, slides and roof rack. But first what, if anything, should I look for or be prepared for as far as maintenance.
Looking forward to becoming apart of the community.

Change out all fluids if not shown in service history.
OEM plugs are good for 90-100k miles.
My water pump started leaking around 95k.
Lube yer spiders and shafts.
