2013 GX460 with 88,000 miles.
Traded in a beloved 4th gen 4Runner for it. Looked at 5th gen 4Runners, but didn't like the reduction in interior amenities versus the 4th gen and the still underpowered v6.
So far loving the extra power and the luxurious interior.
Not loving the brakes having a bit of wobble to them. I had just solved this on my 4Runner prior to trading it by replacing the front calipers, rotors, and pads. Looks like I have the same job in my future on this as well. This appears to be the identical brake system.
Welcome to the club!
FYI, I just replaced my front brakes for OEM rotors (part#43512-60191) and pads (04465-60320) from Bell lexus, $240 shipped. Shudder at braking is gone.
Good to know!
Out of curiosity, are seized calipers a known issue on GX's like they are on 4Runners? It's actually a ridiculous problem the reoccurs pretty often on the 4Runner platform.
Hey everyone,
I used be active in the Subaru forums, back in the day, but haven't bothered for my other cars since then. With this new GX, I'm motivated to join the community as I see so many people modifying these awesome trucks and plan to myself. First up is a custom roof rack that's about half way done as of this post. I couldn't find one I'm happy with online and was shocked at the prices, so I decided to build my own. I don't know what other people are into, but I would probably be considered, "advanced" when it comes to fabrication and other custom DIY stuff. Well, there's a bit about me. More to come and thanks for the warm welcome.

Welcome dude! The GX is a great platform to do so many things. I used to be active on s2000 and 350z forums.
Hello! Just purchased my first GX460. I sold my last 80 series and really enjoying this GX. I have A LOT to learn. Look forward to getting more familiar with the vehicle and this community. I will do my best to research as much as possible prior to posting "newb questions".

Howdy! I just picked up a 2010 GX and I love it so far, I also have a 1996 turbo diesel Hilux Surf that I like to tinker with. I ordered all new OEM front brakes for the GX because the pedal feel is horrible and they shake like hell when I hit the brakes.

Picked up a 2011 Black Onyx GX from TX about a month ago with 123k miles for my wife/long road trips. Will be my future vehicle as she gets the "newer" nice car and I inherit her older vehicle, in this case a 2000 Limited 4runner we've had for 5 years. I got into maintenance and upkeep when we lived in Oregon and we picked up our 4runners, so I look forward to caring for the GX and learning a lot from the forums about more advanced systems.
