As far as my experience leather will wear way faster even when maintained well compared to nuluxe I think nuluxe feels more comfortable and most likely wears less when maintained. Leather is just for its name.
When looking at the used car market the opposite is true. Consistently Luxury models has less wear on their interiors than other models.
Hey all, just picked up this beautiful GX with Cocoa Brown interior! Not the premium, but I do have gps as well as parking assist. 140k miles with an extensive service record! Single owner, no accidents. Everyone that hops in is purely impressed by the quality and resilience of the car.

Very new member here... in fact it hasn't even been delivered yet! Picked up a 16' Starfire Pearl Premium with 61k Miles. Was able to find one with all the options I wanted except MTS and Air suspension but pretty happy otherwise. I come from a 3rd gen 4runner that was built up pretty extensively so this is definitely a change for me! Excited to have nearly double the HP.

I bought my GX460 in Dec 2020 from a Dallas, TX dealer to tow and want to modify it to do more off road trips in NV/UT/CO/CA/etc. I had a 2013 VW Touareg V6 and used it to tow a 4000 lb boat and a little off roading (dirt/loose rock trails). It was a great every day driver and not bad for easy off roading, but wasn't great for towing the boat in heat of NV summers. I wanted the GX460 to get a reliable V8 to be able to tow and for weekend off road exploring.

Off road item list to add/mod: all terrain tires, rock sliders and maybe cbi front bumper mod.... one at a time. The rear air suspension is great for auto leveling when towing the boat, but I can't figure out why Lexus wouldn't have adaptive / air suspension for the front and rear (like the Toyota Land Cruiser). I think the Land Cruiser Prado (overseas version of GX460) also only has rear air suspension, but wish it had front and rear air suspension.

Just picked up our new 2021 GX 460 with the Executive package . We just upgraded from a well loved 2008 4Runner Urban Runner to the GX.
The GX is much better suited for trailer towing and our extended trips. In Canada we have two choices, Base and Executive, the Executive includes the lip spoilers, Multi Terrain select modes with Monitor with Underfloor View ,Panoramic View Monitor,Power Folding Third Row Seats (60/40), Mark Levinson 7.1 Channel Surround Sound, 19" Alloy Wheels, P265/55R19, Front Console Cool Box, Transmission Fluid Cooler, Trailer Hitch. Colour is Starfire Pearl with the Sepia Semi-Aniline Leather interior. We waited 6 months for the factory delivery and it was worth every minute of the wait.
