Thanks Thomas , and there's even more to my "Dealer experience" with the Westport Dealer than I can post here ...it wasn't good.... and at one point I even told the Dealer to forget the whole deal. But my Wife really wanted it. I doubt if the Dealer would give us a loaner over this , plus we still have the rental , I was really hoping to try the 460 out on the 6 hour trip to Cape Cod so tomorrow , we'll see what happens.. If we'd bought something like a Yugo , I'd expect all this Drama ....but I didn't expect it from Lexus

Too bad you didn't take it to Englewood Lexus. Years ago they offered to give me loaner ES350 when my IS250 in for brake service wouldn't be ready before our vacation date. When I told him I needed to drive from JC to Provincetown MA - the very end of the Cape Cod, he just threw me the keys and told me to have a great vacation. Had that thing for 2 weeks and drove it to the cape and back. Was great.
Well ...The part didn't come in so I took the 460 back as is with the dummy lights and warnings coming on non stop. They did offer us a Loaner until I told them we had 2 LARGE German Shepherds ..that killed the loaner offer LOL . I understand ...we spent a lot on custom fit upholstery covers that we just installed so , I can see why they were worried. We leave for N Eastham tomorrow morning and hopefully you guys won't see us broken down on CNN LOL ...Fried Clams, Lobster, Scallops ..I'm ready !!!

That sucks, but parts are an issue in many industries. Enjoy the Trip and share some pictures along the ride
2019 GX460 Premium PKG Black/Black
BSM with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
Previously drove a 2005 Jeep Liberty
The wife and I were in the market for our next vehicle. I desperately wanted to be rid of her Liberty, and the liberty, fortunately, decided to cooperate by giving us all sorts of mechanical issues one after the other. My wife wanted a Yukon (for our going family), but I was very hesitant as my experience with GM products going up was not the best. Growing up, we spent many times waiting for a tow truck for our '95 Suburban. My parents traded in for a '02 Sequoia and I've been in love with that SUV ever since (My brother still has the Sequoia with 300k miles and the only major issue ever with the car was the master brake cylinder cracking). Needless to say, I won (surprise), and we are happy owners! Now I just have to wait five years for it to become mine. Hopefully, Lexus comes out with an L model for the GX or LX by then for her replacement. It'd be nice to have some extra room in that trunk with the third row up.

Took delivery last month of a Nebula Gray/Sepia GX after 10+ years driving out-of-warranty German station wagons.
The GX has the space for kids/activities, luxury my wife appreciates and the smooth ride I need while I recuperate and acclimate to a reliable vehicle.
Apologies for bad photos! Just finished ceramic tint, and future upgrades include hitch and bike rack, CBI front bumper, maybe an alternate muffler for more v8 goodness.
I'M BACK! Former ClubLexus member (forgot login info, so had to create a new one). I previously had a 2013 GS base, which I sold in 2020. Missed Lexus enough that I just bought a 2019 GX460 Luxury as a CPO.
Would like a mild lift, wheels/AT tires down the road. Will burn through the CPO warranty and work through any potential issues before modding. So will stay stock for a while. Looking forward to the valuable insights of ClubLexus!
First GX purchase after a few LS vehicles in the garage.
2019 Premium /Captains chairs and Sport Package
46k miles and just off a 3 year lease that started in Aug of 2019
Great records and service history and one owner.
Claret Mica Exterior with Ecru/Brown interior.
Upgrading from a 2015 RX350 and looking forward to many miles of smiles.
I'd like to sort by date (i.e. most recent first)(starting after the monitor's welcome post). Is there a way to do that? I feel like I have looked right past something that should be obvious, sorry.
Hey, just a heads-up: I may be following you around this site because I'm also looking for lift kit and bigger tire info., ha. Just want to let you know so my name or posts or whatever don't pop up in some way to where it creeps you out.
