hahahaha, looking for reasons to get out the house. There is so much in-home family love you can handle

Lights are working well so far. No regrets. I hope the write up is bringing new customers who are more comfortable DIY.

I have a question, what happens once the bulb life hours are over, how do you go about replacing these if one get fused over a period of time, I think you have to replace as a pair, as the color difference would be shown, secondly I see you have glued with some sealant to hold the wiring, how difficult it would be once they need to be replaced as the Phillips rebased bulbs come with the Pig tails, Does XD sell these phillips bulbs with the standard pig tail wirings.

I don't really worry about life of bulbs as it should take years before need to replace one (I think the life is around 3500 hours). If you buy cheap kits you may have to replace them more often.

Depending on the age, I would suspect you may have to replace just one or both. The 100 hrs is the time Philips needs to achieve the right brightness. If it has been few years and one went out, I would replace both or just get a new kit as I am sure there are better by then. If just couple years, then I would replace just one.

With this kit you would replace the bulb with the wire going through the sealed cover. Even though I have sealed it, I can replace the cover for a new one. Each cover costs only $10 or so. I prefer to have it water tied and have to replace it then having foggy lights as moisture got inside. Personal preference.
