Gas went above $6.40 for 87 and into $7.10 for 91 again in Cali so, as much as I have a short commute I maybe swapping back to my old Highway OE wheels and taking my roof bars off. Put them back when I want to go have fun...
14.5 mpg right now but I use 87 octane. Not a long commute but takes 30 min to go 10 miles. I'll try the surface streets this next week but I think the lights and stops will be the same as stop and go traffic.

About 4 weeks ago it was actually $4.99 for 87 at the cheap gas station. Been a rough month.

oops, I meant 87 instead of 89 in the previous post as well.

Wow, I just paid $3.57 for premium at my local Costco
I commute short distance (10miles each way) so current average mpg since new is 16.5, driving it gentle. But due to travel hockey we drive a lot of highways in weekends, normally have CC set between 80-85, have not noticed any significant differences in MPG going 80 vs 85, but if staying below 70 it there is a difference, but I don't have patience doing 70 here in FL.

Last trip to Tampa avg speed 78mph and mpg was 19.1 (~260 miles)

air filter not clogged and proper 32 psi tire inflation will give you the best MPG

"Proper 32 psi" is based on a cushy ride for those that should have purchased an RX (non-truck based platform). 36psi for the GX weight is more appropriate and will yield improved gas mileage in addition to improved steering response.

if you inflate the tires, yes you will get better mileage but the tread life will wear faster and more chance for nail/glass punctures

... which is exactly why these ridiculous posts need to be challenged ... otherwise people believe tires (in terms of logic) are like birthday balloons.

Default Gas mileage

Had my 2023 Nori black line for a month. shocked at all the negative reviews regarding gas mileage. Just travelled 140 miles- 110 of it was 77 cruise and avg 20.2. That is better than the Ford Expy FX4 that i traded in for my GX. Same trip would have resulted in 17 on the Expy. Glad to see those numbers!

Default One week with my brand new Black Line Nori Green-MPG??

New to the forum, love the truck. However, MPG is quite terrible so far. With 175 miles on the odometer since picking up the GX last week, I'm averaging 11.5 MPG. My previous 5 cars were all leased Jaguars (XF, XJ, F-Pace). I also own a beautiful 2013 XKR convertible, and I was always able to get at least the City rated numbers when driving locally around town. Hopefully it will get better.
p.s. no need for comments on reliability of Jaguars - I for one never had problems with any of them.

Yikes, even when I have a heavy foot (even with a throttle controller), I'm seeing 13-14 MPG.. I have 1,9xx miles on mine, but that seems crazy? Are you simply holding the throttle to the ground, and then sitting in New York traffic all day? I manually calculate the MPG every time I fuel up, and the lowest I've seen is 14.5, best I've seen is 16.x on the highway, but I still haven't really driven the car much since getting it in September.
