if about the light, id say it can take 2 hours. when i did mine i was doing other stuff at the same time, and testing and experimenting. but just the light part is a couple cuts and wiring.
Low profile storage drawer added after 3rd seat removal. It lifts out to a split rear deck where one side can still bolt in a rear seat when needed. I'll be making the face a flip up door and use soft bag storage and see how I like it. I think the actual drawer itself eats too much space.
I'm also working on Paracord Grab handles right now just for kicks. Will have install pics when I get some allen head M6. The stock handles have odd mounting clips and headliner openings, so I had to fab up a bolt method and 3D print some backer plates. I'll also have to get some flat light tan paint to get them more like my interior plastics
Finished proof of concept.
I may change the 3d printed backing plates to light tan in the future.
Question/Thought I had this past weekend while tinkering-
I have a 2019 that has the power mirrors, and was wondering if anyone had found a way to make them close when you lock the vehicle? Would love to hear if someone had attempted this type of mod on their 2nd Gen.

Just found this amazing item on AliExpress. Check it out! $29.99 | WINSGO Car OBD Window Closer Open+ Side Mirror Fold Spread LHD Left Hand Drive For Lexus GX GX400/GX460 2011+ https://a.aliexpress.com/_mqpBhcA
thanks for the link, Veliksam. I think there is a thread about this mod - adding an auto-fold mirror module. maybe search and see if you find info on this particular unit or another, and if members have experienced any issues.
