Luke, did you get your fog lights yet?

If so, how does the light output compare to the standard fogs?

Can you post pic?

Here are some pictures. Did replace only on one side so you have a better idea. My HID are below 5000k, so fogs seem to be a little whiter (crisper). Since those LEDs are 5k, there is no blue tint.

Thanks for the pics Luke!

Did you notice any difference in the light output on the road at night between the LEDs and the standard fogs?

Hard to say. Initially I thought yes becuase standard fogs have a distinctive line between them and HID headlights, plus are more yellow which makes them more visible. LED melt together with HID (almost identical color) so you don't see the line. Looking at the last picture, you can see the light output is more even and brighter. The effect on the ground is purely from fogs. Headlight line was a little further away.

For sure LED is the way to go if you don't want yellow color. Also they are bright enough so I wouldn't even consider HID conversation kit there.

I noticed that every one is installing the L.E.D. lights on their GX. I have seen some references to a wire or lead when installing the lights. Are the lights a plug in type or do they require wires to be attached?

All LEDs plug in the same way like a regular bulb. Instead of a regular bulb at the top, you just have an LED. Only LED turn signals require an easy modification where you need to add a resistor. The resistor corrects a hyperflashing issue which normally indicates that one of the bulbs is out. Since LEDs use very little power, car thinks they are out. In post #118 I have also included link to resistors.

Does anyone know the replacement bulbs for interior floor well lights? There are a pair under the dash of the driver and passenger and a pair under the seats that illuminate the second row. If you have a link to the v-leds.com site that would be great.

If you are talking about the orange lightining, I don't think you can easily replace those. When I was hard wiring my valentine1 and removed pannel on the pasenger side I didn't see light bulbs and I think those were LEDs.

There is also light coming out from door handles (inside the vehicle). I wanted to replace those to match with the rest of the car, but I think it will be the same story as the foot well.

I assume you have drivers for your DRL since they run at a lower power and the driver is needed to provide a full power. V-leds sell something similar.

Can you post link to your Philips LED solution? I didn't do anything to DRL yet and may try your solution.

Currently on my GX460 I have:
Dome lights (need 3 sets)

i ended up bending one of the hinges on the right side map light! be sure you pop it open from sides in front where hinges are and not back. also, be very careful with plastic. its very soft. Hopefully that piece is a few bucks and no more

I did the same thing, but the hinge did not break. I gently bent the piece back and replaced it.
