2-Gold
3-Platinum
4-Nothing(I've got cash to cover repairs

I didn't purchase the warranty. I was also surpised when I bought the car at the Lexus dealer (Woodfield Lexus, Shaumburg, IL), I thought I was going to get a big sales pitch on buying an extended warranty. In fact the guy doing the paperwork just blew through the options in about 1 minute, asked if I was interested, I said no, and he just went on with the remaining paperwork. I was suprised (and appreciative).

There is a reason why I buy Lexus/Toyota cars.... so I don't need to worry relaibility issues. Had multiple Toyota/Lexus cars and never had issues. For sure I would buy extended warranty if I would be driving an american or german car.
