I've never owned a Lexus and only owned one Toyota in my life, so I'm not exactly sure how this happened, but I've placed an order for 2011 GX 460 for my wife and I couldn't be happier.
In the last couple of weeks, we've spent a good deal of time looking at the mid-sized luxury SUV market. We considered the X5 (just sold our old X5), the MDX, the Q5 and Q7, the MB ML series and the Lexus. We drove the 460 today for the first time and within 30 minutes, we were laying down a deposit for one.
It's the premium package with ML Sound, Rear Entertainment and remote start. Knight's Armor and Sepia interior. It'll arrive in the next 3 weeks (hopefully) and my wife is as excited as I am.
After owning four BMWs, five Audis, a handful of Volkswagens and three Nissans (and others), I don't recall ever being as excited about a new car as this one. The fit and finish of this vehicle is top-notch and I can't wait to get our hands on it.
Looking forward to sharing my experiences with it as soon as it arrives.
