Coincidence I'm sure, but we just received our premium notice for a 2010 GX 460, which appears identical to the one in the video BEFORE the tree fell. According to State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company ... "The claim experience on your make and model of vehicle has resulted in an increase to your vehicle rating group for comprehensive coverage." Comprehensive includes damage such as falling trees, right? Maybe too many GX 460's are getting squashed! ;-)
What is more likely is that SUV's are getting increasingly expensive to repair and especially to repaint. Our insurance paid to repair a door ding from a rock ... $854.
