Default Looking to put body side moldings on my 2011

I've seen the posts of others that did it in the past. I have two questions.

1. Does anyone have the part number handy for the OEM version. Specifically Knight's Armor Pearl (1H3)? I can't find it doing searches.

2. Has anyone used the Dawn Enterprises version?

There are 4 pieces total.

Would it be "Sparkle Solid Gray"?

Thanks. Maybe that's the new name for that color code. For what these cost I might give the Dawn Enterprise mouldings a shot. Or deal with not having them.

Default 2020 GX Body Side Moldings

I've been told that the 2020's don't come with body side moldings anymore and that they can't be ordered. My thought was to order some for a 2019 and then I realized that Atomic Silver is a new color for 2020 so that wouldn't work. Anyone else had this issue?

Personally I think it sucks that they removed this. I have a 2011 base and installed them. 2012 was standard side molding.

The stock ones have clips as well that go into doors as well as adhesive

Example of mount holes in door for stock side moldings

You could get some earlier ones, remove the clips and have them repainted to the 2020 colour and stick them on with tape only. I wouldn't want to start drilling holes on mine, haha. Or get a colour that existed before, .

What did you figur@MrJamison ? I have a ‘21 in atomic silver. I’d like side moldings as well.

My 2019 is "Silver Lining", not sure how different that is from Atomic Silver?

You can buy it off Amazon and get it painted - probably the best bet. As long as it is installed right with a good 3M adhesive on a clean surface, it should stay on for life of the car. If you are not a car geek, I’d recommend a body shop putting them on. Getting them level and straight is not as easy as it sounds.

I like the side molding as dings ruin a car for me.

Default Door/ side molding

Hello, now that Lexus doesn’t make Side molding for doors as OEM product for GX460, what are people who don’t like their doors dinged in parking lots doing ? Looking for ideas for black gx 2021. Thanks!

You should be able to put on OEM.

tecman did on his years back as 10-11 base did not have them either

Default GX460 Door Molding Removal Install

Feels good to back in a Lexus! I will create a new thread on that soon and my plans with the truck but in the meantime, my new-to-me used gx460 has a rash on it's right rear exterior door molding. I was in the process of refreshing the vehicle as it's a 2015 model in pretty good shape otherwise, but I wanted it to look perfect and I ordered a new OEM molding to clean it up. I understand that the molding is held on with clips and adhesive, but I wanted to ask how easy it was to replace it? I would hate to go to a body shop for something so simple. I was planning on heating it up with a heat gun to release the adhesive and popping it off with a trim remover. However, I do not know if I need new clips or can re use the old ones given I don't break them. Any recommendations or advice would be helpful. TIA

Not my vehicle, just a pic of the part:
