^ hey i drive a Range Rover.. ergo i'm "all Man"? but i also like driving our RX 350.. i guess yo can call me "Bi"? ha ha!
and i see a lot of GX 470/460 Blizzard pearl being driven by the "XX" population.
the same way i see a lot of Tahoe, Suburban, Ford Expedition being driven by moms..
Guys, if you base your manliness on that truck you drive.. then you have bigger issues.
by the way, my friend who served 3 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan drives a Prius.. does it emasculates him? hmm i don't think so.

That probably would have made a huge difference in my opinion of the truck. We did take the white one to a local shop and he put it on his rack and said it was in perfect alignment, but it still pulled and had the wheel cocked to the left when going straight. I thought it was a really nice truck inside and it looked pretty good outside, but it just drove poorly. She doesn't need a truck, but didn't want to listen to me when I said that in December. I've made a few regretable vehicle decisions in the past, so we'll let it slide!

The reason a steering wheel is not centered and the alignment is good is because the the steering was not centered and locked before the alignment was done. A bad tire usually causes vibration not pulling to one side.

it could be just the alignment tech. My previous IS250 was off and Tustin & Newport Lexus couldn't fix it. I end up taking it to a racing alignment specialist and he was able to fix it without doing computer alignment.
Of course, I got my alignment done (for IS350) there right after 250, and so far it's been good for at least 40k miles.
I guess if I do end up getting this GX I will have to bring it to him right away...

I replaced the useless OEM summer tires and wheels on my IS with less then 1K miles on them. I had the alignment checked and it needed adjustment. I plan on getting LTs for the GX (for 2013) and will have the front end checked. I have 12K miles on the OEM tires (at 40 psi) and they are wearing perfectly. If you get a GX and it rides perfectly straight with no vibration and you keep an eye on how they are wearing, you shouldn't need an alignment.

Our early-production (November 2009) 2010 base version GX 460 runs smooth and true on the original Michelin Latitude Tour HP tires with over 20,000 miles. Our dealer swaps them front to rear every six months ... otherwise, all we do is keep them at 40 PSI.
It has been discouraging to read that other owners are having problems with vibration, but if Koz's and our experience is any indication, it is specific to vehicles and not general to the model. It may be difficult to find and it depends on the capability of who is providing service, but the problem can be fixed as several posters have reported.

drove the GX as well but was swayed by the initial insurance testing as well as it sits tall driving.
