I am in the market for a new GX now, but my dealer can only give me around $2k off MSRP. I heard many people here got their GX for $6-7k off MSRP. Can someone give me a copy of the deal so that I can ask the dealer to match? Thanks.

Hmmm Car's Direct used to have that kind of pricing, but I checked and it's only like $1k off....

Go to Pohanka Lexus in VA if it is not too far from you. I was quoted $1,500 over invoice without having to really negotiate much although I didn't end up buying from them. Most dealers in MD were not willing to go that low given that it is a low volume car and demand is pretty high.

Thanks. My dealer said he can match or beat the deal if I show him the proof that someone got the GX with lower price.

I can give you proof of my deal of just a little over invoice but I am sure your dealer would not be happy about it. I would of course have to mark out the dealer I got if from because I am sure they wouldn't be happy about it either. Which dealer are you referring to?

Bad news new GX won't be around until march 2013 and would be a 2014 model. I was hoping to have the new version but not wanting to wait another year so just negotiated today for $4000 off of msrp. Unfortunately Lexus just raised there dealer costs last month so mosts dealers are unwilling to budge much.

I've heard, the 2013 model will be out this fall with a few changes. I would wait for the 2013...

I think they are skipping a model year like they did with the LX and having an early release 2014 with a face lift in March 2013. This was from a Lexus exec at the NY auto show last week.

No prob. I thought it would be out this fall also according to my dealer but heard otherwise from higher ups. So purchased a 2012 being delivered next week.
