Just purchased CPO '10 460
Folks,
I just purchased a GX460 from southern California and couldn't be happier. It is a premium with ML and a replacement for a MB GL450 that we got rid of.
I am thrilled with everything except for the fact that the second row doesn't fold and flip forward to access the third row. You have to practically be from a Circue De Soleil show to be flexible enough to access that second row.
That part is a huge disappointment.

Lexus should re-design how you access the third row seats. I don't use the third row that often where it makes that much of a difference (to me). I also think that if the third row is that important, the GX (mid-sized SUV) is not the right class of vehicle. It's great in a pinch, especially with the electric seats.

I agree with Koz, that the GX is not really designed for those who intend to use the 3rd row on a regular basis. That's one of the reasons why I went with the LX over the GX. Although the LX's third row isn't exactly roomy, the additional hip and shoulder room makes it at least tolerable to sit in on short drives. Also, the knee room is pretty decent if the second row seats are adjusted forward a couple of inches.
