Thank you for the responses. This is very helpful. We go to the dealership tomorrow and check the new truck again. Agree, with giving up height vs. gaining against the hanging seats. However, need to make sure that this truck can take 4 full size suitcases with the middle bench seats in place, just like the 470. I am glad that 460 gives the option of the middle bench in luxury version.

We really love the cargo area of our existing truck and the added convenience of making it a "flat bed" by folding the middle bench seats against the front! Would want to check this in 460 too.

Default For current owners : Cargo width and height ?

Hi everyone. I’m in the market for a ‘20 GX premium. One question for any current owners that will save me a trip to the dealership:

Inside the cargo area, what’s the width between the wheel wells (with the third row down). I need to fit two dog crates side by side. I need a total of 46” in width ....

Also, the height from floor to headliner would be great as well

thank you
Dan

I just measured my 2019, no changes to width for 2020... Rear over the 3rd row is 43 1/4” at the narrowest point by the 3rd row cup holders. It widens to 51” further back when you get past the wheel well bump out. You basically only have 15” of floor depth at that 51” width, and then it reduces to 43.25” width to the second row seat backs. Height from floor to headliner is 35”and it decreases to 34” where the rear door opening is. Hope that helps.

thank you !! What do you mean about only 15” of floor depth ? You mean from the floor up, to the (folded) their row?

No. I mean you have 15” from the rear opening until the floor width narrows down 43.25” in width. So basically the portion of rear floor that is 51” wide is only 15 deep. Not talking about height in any way for that dimension. I hope that makes sense. If you need 46” of width for two dog crates, it’s not going to work in. GX unless the crates are only 15” long! My 3rd row was folded flat for all of these dimensions.

Default 2017 GX Cargo Dimensions

Hi! I am wondering if any of you have (or could provide) the cargo dimensions for a 2017 GX...behind the 2nd row, length/width/height.

Thanks in advance!

you may need to be more specific, captain's chairs or bench seat? forward or pushed back, inclination variable as well...

if you're for the floor dimensions a safe bet would be the size of the goose gear base plate. height from the existing floor (with 3rd row folded flat to what height? (bottom of the lowest window?)
