OEM Hitch / Tow Package

Hello
I have 14 that is supposed to have tow package has tow plugs but no hitch. All my searches either come up with the $99.00 4 bolt attachment or the $300.00+ Lexus frame mount. I have found what I want but it is for the 4runner.
Will the 4runner receiver frame mount fit, do I have to remove anything from the vehicle to make it fit or is it bolt and tow?

Your local Toyota dealer can get you the hitch for about half the price Lexus will sell it to you for. We pull a 26’ Pathfinder with it all the time. This is the heavier hitch system...not the Ebay crap

however, if you want to tow with your 6x10 trailer then you should have the Lexus hitch which is rated at 6500 lbs.

When I search 14 4Runner I have tons to choose from I think I saw 10,000.00 which is way more than I will ever tow.

Just purchased a 19 GX460 Luxury, Starfire Pearl & Ecru Leather. It replaces our 04 GX470. Just curious; the 04 GX has the tow hitch, but the new GX doesn't. Does the one on the old vehicle fit this 2nd gen GX460?

For 2nd gen GX, the tow hitch is dealer installed accessory.

At any rate, installing a hitch is quite easy for any DIY'er. If you have a few wrenches and don't mind laying under the rear of your vehicle, you can easily save a few hundred dollars installing the hitch yourself.
