I installed this exact hitch on my 2021 for a bike carrier. Works prefect. Installation took 15 minutes. It’s good for 5,000 lbs, btw.

Are you able to show a picture? Does the hitch hit the bumper lip? Thank you!

Bell Lexus online has decent discounts, and shipping was reasonable, if you want OEM. The OEM has a curved look, v the rectangular Curt hitch, if that kind of thing matters to you...Price from Bell Lexus shipped is about the same as the ebay link above.

Nice, I think I might have U-Haul install the Curt for me. I think I am going to get one of those hitch cargo carriers for a drive up north and back. OEM is going to be overkill for that. Plus I doubt I will ever tow with it, and even if I did, no way will I ever want to pull much more than 3500. Hauling close to 6500 in a storm would terrify me. Hell, I don't even like taking some of the overpasses here in Austin when it rains - way too freaking high with what is essentially just a jersey barrier keeping you from flying off.

Just installed this morning the Curt part number 13043 Class 3 Trailer Hitch. The hitch came with a top plate which can be used between the hitch and bumper to allow clearance if needed. I used the plate just to ensure the there would be no rub as it was a tight fit without the top plate. Took all of ten to fifteen minutes.

Has anyone bought the OEM GX hitch lately? They are no longer available most places online and the one I tried to order from a Lexus dealer in eBay was cancelled due to a 'stop Dale's Lexus has placed on them. Debating if I should keep trying to track one down or go with a Curt class III.

Quick google search and this one showed listed, have not tried to purchase as ours had the hitch already.

I found a few still listed on Lexus dealers' sites, but many say no longer avaIable. Shipping is kind of cost prohibitive form some dealers as well. A large, heavy chunk of steel is expensive to transport haha. I guess I could just keep placing orders and see if one goes through? What are people's thoughts on class III vs IV?
