Anyone have any tips,tricks, or suggestions for when I first get the car?

Random question as well...
For the trunk is there a pullover to keep people from seeing what you have?

There is a cargo cover that is an option, you can also buy it from your dealer or Sewell Lexus with your member discount.

The best advice I can give you is to read the manual.....especially the techie stuff. I am still finding out cool features that I would have already known had I cracked open the manual. For example, after about two weeks of ownership I was surprised one morning to discover that the GX can read aloud incoming text messages. A good surprise I might add!

The GX may also have a levitation feature but I wouldn't know because sadly I STILL have yet to read the manual.

To get my the GX to do this with my Iphone 4s I had to delete the connection on the GX and Iphone, power cycle both the car and phone, and then add it back fresh. You can check to see if it configures by look at the phone setting menu and you should see the message sounds option.

I wish there was a way to connect direct to Siri through the bluetooth option. Then you could dictate a text to be sent. A friends GM car can do this by holding the off-hook button for 3 secs, does not work on the GX.
