Default 3 year or 4 year Lease

My wife and I are considering either 3 year or 4 year lease.

4k down MSRp 50255
3 year lease is 520
4 year lease is 506

We have 10k in miles per year, I feel like 3 years comes and goes so fast! I don't want to take a depreciation risk that is why i prefer to lease. I hear about the remodel coming out in 2018 timeframe. What do you all think?

depreciation is almost same whether buying or leasing. probably lose a little more with leasing due to upfront costs.

I do not lease due to I like to modify and would be stressed with mileage allowance. I would think a 3 year lease would give a comfort time and at the end of that if you choose don't you have an option to extend the lease with minor fees?

If you were to sell it prior to the end of the lease term here is no penalty for mileage. Drive to your heart's content.

Lexus will only let you extend the lease for a maximum of 6 months.

Nope... I was responding to the thread "Lease savings by getting a leftover??" ... and I guess this was the "Related Thread" that popped up below it. I guess I scrolled downwards too aggressively and responded to the wrong thread. lol

+1 Yeah it's irritating. Happens here and another forum I visit that runs the same software.
