We use ours regularly. However I live in an urban area, not the boonies.

I don't have one in my GX but I did on my last 3 Tahoes and I took them out and never put them back in until I sold the truck.

LOL! I don't live in the boonies and it gets in the way of putting anything in the cargo area.

In tourist land, thieves will look in the rear while the GX is parked. Without the cover you will return to a busted window and items missing. A messy day.

I'm in Florida but I took the cargo cover out and left it in the garage. It takes up too much room! Not sure if I should bring it with me when we drive up to New Jersey this summer though.

I would get rid of it altogether but I leased the GX and I am sure they will want it back in the car when I turn the car in.

Hi:
Do you still have the sepia colored tonneau cover?

Thanks.

Default Ideas for GX460 cargo concealment?

Really pleased with the new 2016 GX, but after the wife's first road trip with our dog, realize that we need something better than a dark quilt to cover bags, equipment, and kennel. Problem is she is too short to throw it over everything conveniently. I am considering a trip to the local custom shop to fabricate a custom cover made of elastic material to be attachable to either the second or first row seatbacks and to the tie-downs at the back of the cargo compartment. The Lexus tonneau cover isn't able to stretch over tall things like the kennel. Anyone else come up with a way to do this? Drawings or pictures?

Thanks!

Default Gladiator Mesh Tarp

Size small, on order from Auto Anything (better deal than Amazon). Comes with four adjustable straps, and has several grommets along the sides for flexibility. Will give y'all a review once it arrives and is used for a while.

I don't know your State laws, but I solved
that same issue with limo tint. You could never see in or make anything out. Just something to think about.

That's my next step if the cover doesn't do well. Considering the 3M™ Automotive Window Film Scotchshield™ Security Series. It inhibits catastrophic breakage and has the benefit of stalling a hijacking, for instance.

One thing to consider with an interior cargo cover, secured by straps, is that it could protect the occupants in a rollover crash. You would not want to get hit in the head by baggage.
