Just picked up a new GX 460 and need to get it tinted. Would you be able to post a picture of the windshield with 80%? I typically do all my cars at 70% windshield so I'm curious how much lighter the 10% difference makes. I'm planning on doing 33% on the front 2 and 70% on the windshield with Huper but I think it's now called Autobahn ceramic i3
Huper Optik ceramic in 35% with 80% on the windshield. If the cops can’t see through the vehicle from the roadside, it may result in your meeting them personally. They don’t seem to be as ardent about it nowadays but you never want to be the example.

Not the closest of pics but this has the 80 Uber - I have night vision issues and glare bothers me. This doesn’t hurt the night visibility, helps reduce glare and makes the heat much less. Far more comfortable for a long drive.
Am in VA so had to get a cutout for the inspection sticker…. Otherwise one would not know it was tinted.

Awesome, thank you for the additional photos! I live in CA so I'm trying to make GX more "legal" as tint is concerned as the windshield tint is not allowed nor anything lower than 70% on front 2 windows. Love the 70% on the windshield because I have astigmatism in both eyes and oncoming lights bother me at night with my contacts in. I have already been pulled over for window tint before and it's not worth the hassle of taking off the tint and re-tinting so I just have to pay the hefty fine
I'll also have the light tan headliner since we chose the sepia interior so it should make it slightly lighter inside the cabin compared to the black headliner.

Am in VA here but we have the same types of laws and have state inspections too. What I got from my eye doctor is a medical waiver that allows me to have the full windshield tinted. This place appears to offer the exemption certificates but I’m sure that any normal eye doctor’s office out there can issue the forms too.
Here, once you get an exemption, you take it to the DMV and they enter it on all your vehicles so that when the police run the tag, it’ll show up as having sunscreen exemption.
If you go with a high quality nano-ceramic 80 or 70, it will keep the car much cooler and less glare.
No pics. Last GX and my car we’ve used Llumar CTX30. Today did the new GX with Llumar IRX30, a step up in the ceramic line. Eminent white w Ecru interior. Matches rear color perfectly and is a bit lighter (& legal here) than passenger glass. $250 for both front doors.
What % did you end up doing? Did you also do the windshield? Just picked up a '23 and am thinking of doing 70% windshield, 22% on the front to match rears and 70% on the rear glass
