2014 GX E-Mail and Text notification via NAV Question.
So here's the scenario. You have the family in the vehicle, your kids are passed out and in the backseat asleep. Your wife is in the front seat and dozed off, and you are driving home from "XYZ," and are now in what I call the most peaceful zone in existence in the vehicle.
You have some Pandora streaming and about two hours to go worth of driving to get everyone home. And then it happens, you receive a text or E-Mail and the frigg'n notification plays through the Audio system, and asks you if you want to read it, or ignore. Now everyone is up, and you went from total harmony and peace to conversation engaged with everyone about whatever subject is on their mind, for the remainder of the ride home.
Any ideas on how to turn just that part off?

It is very simple if you have an iPhone. Settings/Bluetooth/"i" (next to whatever you named your GX460)/Show Notifications = Off.
No idea how to do this with an Android.
