#Windshield questions, repairs, replacements
#302
To update my situation AAA reimbursed me for my Lexus OEM windscreen I had my Toyota dealer source and replace. My deductible was $500 I got reimbursed about $700. It’s piece of mind getting non-chinesium OEM parts.

Winshield Replacement shops Long Island NY
Hello everyone! Long time reader. First time poster. I was hoping someone could recommend a shop on Long Island New York to have my windshield removed and reinstalled. My windshield had a crack and I had it replaced using Lexus glass by a Lexus dealership. However I hear a sharp whistling and an unusual amount of wind noise while driving, especially above 45mph, on windy days I can hear it below that. I have taken it back to the dealership where they told me my after market wipers were the cause. It obiviously wasn't but I agreed to put on the oem wipers to show good faith. At this point I would just rather pay to have it reinstalled than waste time and effort chasing after them to remedy the problem. I have read on the other postings about replacing the clips and such. I am not sure if it was done on the orginal install but that is why I paid to have it done by Lexus. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated! Thank you
