Strong plastic/chemical smell of new GX460
Been cross shopping new GX460, X5, ML350, Q7, MDX,
one observation is that both MDX and GX460 have a strong plastic/chemical smell, while the German cars has less smell.
and Lexus LS460 only has pleasant leather smell, not so much plastic smell, to be expected at that price level.
just want to check if anyone else noticed the same ?

Take it to the beach with 3 boys and a dog like I just did. Works wonders.
Seriously though my older son complained of the heavy new car smell when we got it 10 days ago and now does not notice it. Enjoy!
