Unusual noise

Hi all
I just discovered today that my AHS seemed like it was still on after I had turned off the car. There was this low motor noise that I heard coming from my right wheel well about 4 hours after I had stopped the car. Only reason I heard it was because it’s a quiet cold winter day. I got in the pushed the off button for the Suspension height And then checked and it was gone.
Has anyone any ideas what this could be or encountered this before? is this normal and I need to make sure it is off or Do I need to take it in to the dealer ?
Much obliged for any insight into this.

Yes,this is a normal function of the emissions system. Freaked me out as well the first time I heard it in my quiet garage. It's detailed in the manual somewhere. Nothing to worry about.
