Default Is Luxury Worth it?

Made deal on a 15" GX460 Luxury. They gave me a Premium model to take home for weekend before making final decision tomorrow.

I was originally set on Luxury for:

1) power 3rd row

2) air suspension

But when I drove the Lux I noticed the air suspension didn't move very much - unlike Rover. Also, I don't think it rode any softer than the regular suspension. Am I missing something?

Price difference isn't really that big of an issue... but its it worth it?

Depends on the deal, from reading some of the prices paid here, Texas dealerships were willing to deal more than the dealers in my area. If the difference is around 5k, I'd get the Luxury. I ended up with the Premium because we for 2.5k off MSRP. I like the Luxury for the ML stereo and full leather seats.

I would not buy a vehicle without an adaptive cruise control. And it's available on Luxury trim only.

The only thing I found useful and requires the luxury package is the park assist camera which shows the surrounding of the vehicle while parking. This is standard on the Infinity models. After weighting the cost and features we went with the premium package which has the sensors and more than enough bells and whistles I will ever need

Thanks for the feedback guys. We ended up going with a Nebula Gray Luxury! Seems like it will be a great vehicle!

I understand the leather is different between Premium Pkg and Luxury Pkg. Does anyone know is there a lot of difference? They are Leather trim and semi aniline interior trim. Not sure if it feels differently when sitting on those two seats.

Yes, I can def vouch for the leather difference. The Lux is super soft. Like LS460 - butter.

SEMI-ANILINE, PERFORATED LEATHER-TRIMMED INTERIOR
This extremely soft leather is dyed all the way through, unlike leathers with conventional surface dyes. A higher grade of leather must be used since imperfections cannot be hidden.
STANDARD ON: GX 460 LUXURY
