@lembowski I first contacted them through the contact page on their website (google will translate the page, but it was still a little difficult): http://japan4x4.com/contact/
Thanks for posting this. I am planning to order this to finish a recently completed Rhino Rack install now with same roof gutter exposure.
They are molded to fit snugly in the roof channels - just slide/pop them into place and that's it.
For the price, I wouldn't call these "necessary", but they do finish off the roof line and channel, keep dirt and debris out of the channel, and align with the existing pieces of moulding by the windshield and at the back by the rear hatch.
Not much to show off; just a black strip of rubber under the roof rail...[/QUOTE]
Thinking about longer cross bars with raised Prado 150 rails.
I bought and installed the Lexus Blackline Crossbars (PZQ30-60205) with my raised Prado 150 rails, and have been very happy (they more than meet my needs and were priced nicely compared bars and feet/towers from Thule or Yakima).
The Blackline Crossbars are about 50 inches long and included the feet/towers, but I was thinking of getting some longer crossbars (makes loading kayaks easier, and provides a little more room). Maybe just 3 or 4 inches longer on each side (which still would not extend beyond the side of the GX460). Instead of buying new feet/towers and new cross bars from Thule or Yakima (nice, but pricey), I was wondering if longer cross bars were available that would fit the feet/towers that came with the Lexus Blackline Crossbars?
@Siblue stated above that the Blackline Crossbars (PZQ30-60205) which included feet/towers are supplied by Rhino Rack. In looking at the Rhino Rack Vortex bars and feet/towers, they do look very similar. I'm wondering if anyone has mated the Rhino Rack Vortex crossbars with the Blackline Crossbar feet/towers (Vortex bars come in 54 inch or 59 inch, and other lengths)? The 54 inch is only 2 inches longer on each side. The 59 inch might be too long (or just right), but could be cut down fairly easily. Not sure what the optimal length would be. Regardless, I might need a longer Allen wrench to tighten the feet clamp?
Any insight or thoughts from anyone with experience with this would be appreciated.
I realize this post is older, but do you still have the SkyLine setup installed? I'm thinking about it for my 2023 with my Yakima Skybox and was wondering how you liked it, if you still have it installed, and finally if you had to remove your roof rails to install.
