Finally picked up the 15 GX premium today, and questions
Finally picked the beauty up! Was so happy and excited, still am now. The ride is very comfortable, and solid.
Here it comes the questions,
1. Is it worth to purchase a pre-paid maintenance for 50k miles/ 5yrs for $2200? Wasn't really motivated for buying that, but want to hear what do you think.
2. The truck just got off from the port last week, and shipped to the dealer. With 6 miles on the ODO meter. However I do feel some mild shaking from the engine when I am braking it at a slow speed, 0-5mph. The shaking disappear when the car stop completely. Should I be worry about that? Any reponsing is greatful.

Finallt picked up 15 premium today.
Question #1. Absolutely Not! Your vehicle is already covered for 4 Years/50,000 miles bumper to bumper and 6year/70,000 miles on power train. Your scheduled maintenance is covered for the first year, which includes your first oil change. The only other scheduled maintenance for the five years is oil changes and brake fluid replacement. They do not exceed the price of $2200. If you have $2200 put it aside in an account and when the five years is up you come out ahead If you are so inclined you can change the oil yourself. You will only have to go one year without coverage on scheduled maintenance. That should only be an oil change! These vehicles have the best reliability record.
Question #2. Did you give the vehicle a thorough test drive before signing the papers. Anyhow, it is a new car with a full warranty. Take it back as soon as they open tomorrow and let them know and check it out. Within the first few days they will usually bend over backwards to take care of their new customer.
I have a 15 Luxury purchased in January and to date no problems to report.

Thank you so much Valley for the reply.
1. I totally forgot the 5k and 10k maintenance will be provided by Lexus. Lucky that I didn't make the call.
2. We just went down there to picked up and go, never thought about to do any road test before signing the paper... I guess I was too confident with Lexus. I had test drove 2 times of the other 2015 GX before, and didn't feel the same vibration by that time. The shaking is only noticeable when 1. the car is going to be stopped by braking, while the braking panel is halfway pressed. 2. the brake is slightly released, the car starts to move forward. The shaking feels like "rough idling", and similar to the misfire which happened to my 2006 GS 300 couple of years ago.
Other than that, the beauty is great. Both my wife and I like it very much.

There is no any yellow and red indicator light is on.
I brought the car into the local Lexus about a week ago. The technician who sat in the car with me for the road test also felt the shaking. After the road test I had made an appointment with the shop foreman for the further checking on the coming Wednesday.
The consultant said it wouldn't be any problem, but just something needs to be tighten up. Lets wait and see.

Just an update to everyone. The shaking is noticeable when the car is moving slowly and braking with the AC is on which had been confirmed by the the shop foreman. He had don test driving 2 other 2015 GX, and seen it happened to both of these cars. He said it feels like some kind of resonance when the motor is running in certain low RPM, while the air compressor is running. Which means you will never notice the shaking if you brake the car quickly and go fast , also don't turn on the AC.
Since there is nothing wrong mechanically I would just need to learn to live with it.
