Default GX 460 Dashboard Ticking/Rattle Noise

Hi everyone. I recently traded my 2012 GS 350 for a 2015 GX 460. It's more my type of vehicle, and I am loving it except for a noise under the dashboard that seems to be somewhere behind the instrument cluster.

The noise is more of a ticking sound, and if I had to guess, it seems to be a wiring harness in that mesh-type wrapping that's moving around. I hear mostly over bumps in the road, but it also shifts when I accelerate from a stop. Unfortunately, the area where I'm hearing this is inaccessible without removing the dash.

Below is a link to a dash cam video I shot with the noise. Can anyone help me try to get rid of it? I'm hoping it won't be necessary to remove the dash. Thanks.

Same rattle on my 2008 GS 350 - just started last week - very annoying.

If you have a 2015, then your warranty will cover the repair of the rattle. Let the dealer deal with it.

Have your GX clicking issue been fixed? I have a very similar problem on my car.

Thank you.

Same noise on 2017. I thought it was my fault since I took the right side of the dash apart a couple of times. It seems like it’s coming from the center dash somewhere.

Have had a dash rattle as well ever since they performed my airbag recall. Plan on mentioning it the next time I bring it in....

Call me crazy, but I think I hear something similar around the infotainment and 12v charger area. I recently had the airbag recall done as well.

I have the same noise in my 2015 as well, had it before the airbag recall.

Maybe the front signal lamps since that thing is a rattle box.

I have the same issue with my 2018 Lexus GX460. Did you figure out what was wrong?
