Is this for the GX, only? I recently discovered that my '18 ISF has the key fob option (something that was never communicated to me several months ago at time of purchase). It also has the remote app.

After buying our GX, we found there was a remote start added to it. press lock button twice, and on the third, hold it down to start. Only downfall is the system runs for only about 10minutes.

So I have a 2018 GX 460 and the enform just expired (May have been a post already,if so point me in the right direction)
now the lock lock lock feature to start doesn’t work. BYPASS??? Does one know of a bypass module or 3rd party starter that works?any help would be appreciated

For 2014 and earlier, there is a remote start ECU (non Enform dependent) available. I believe it is compatible with all the GX model year. Do a search on this forum, there is a discussion thread on the subject.

I believe anything pre 2016 had the option of the non Enform remote start. MY15 has this feature

That did work until Enform shut off. Thought it would stay but no such luck

I was wondering if anyone has had experience installing a remote start. Lexus part #PT39860151. My understanding is this is compatible with a smartphone from any distance. Any other parts necessary for installation or functionality? Any installation tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

For smart phone capable remote start for lexus, require Enfourm subscription from Lexus.

How do I get my key fob to remotely start engine? Had my dealer do it but dealer is 60 miles away to demo again. Just purchased new 2019 GX 460 with premium package but remote key start is not an added accessory. Dealer started car from 10 yards away and he is no magician.

You need RES or RES+ on '10-'15 model.
