Post Interested In Buying A 2016 GX460

Hey guys, I recently went to my local dealership to get my 2004 GX470 serviced because one of the sensors in my tire went bad. It cost $400 dollars to replace that sensor and about five months ago, the amp that powers the Mark Levinson system went bad. That cost about a grand to replace... My current GX470 is in great condition with only 81k miles on it. I went to speak with a sales man to get a purchase inquiry.

2016 GX460 Premium - MSRP $57,124.
Salesman offered 10k for my GX470 and took off two grand from the MSRP.
I felt that I could have got more for my GX because it's basically brand new. I changed the amp, tires, timing belt, etc..

The salesman offered $48,XXX OTD. Do you guys think this is a reasonable price and should I jump the gun or negotiate some more. Salesman even told me that there was a couple right behind me trying to purchase the same vehicle. I told him I was in no rush haha.

PS: I'm new to the forums.

I paid $51k +ttl for a 2015 premium about 4 months ago. You should be able to do better than $55.7

Well the Denso TPMS sensor is $32.79@Rockauto, and used ML amps go on ebay for around $600: they don't call them stealerships for nothing! Your GX sounds like a decent low mileage well serviced vehicle, and you'll always get a better price than trade in if you sell it. The stealership is probably just going to auction something that old anyway, so why not give someone who would appreciate the maintenance you put into it the chance to buy it?
My 2¢.

Don't let an audio amp and a tire sensor ruin it for you

I think you should be able to get more out of your 470 than that, a low mile GX is still a low mile GX. Also at that price buyers really can't be picky about a mark levinson amp.

And good on you to not be pressure by the salesman. You can always find another truck, if someone else buys it from under you, good for them.
