Fun thread; Thanks Hoonshyne for bringing it up and Acrad for the reference -- This was something I was wondering too.

The Lexus tools are absolute garbage ... so unless one is **** about filling in every preformed slot ... do yourself a favor and buy real tools ... a better use of the money.

I have real tools as well ....but IMO... a fun novelty to fill in all the blanks back there even if you never use them.

The empty slots bothered me but realistically even if I need any tools I’m definitely not reaching for the dollar store quality two in one screwdriver.

What in the heck is supposed to fit in the other spot with the two straps? GXBob had some interesting items there in one of his videos but I suspect that we’re not OEM!!

I’m guessing probably some sort of flares/triangles for other markets.

Most important ... buy a Gorilla Wrench ... expandable for leverage with a quality socket included. At 85 ft-lbs even a weight lifter would be challenged using the included tools to remove the lug nuts.

First thing I do when buying a new vehicle for my family ... demonstrate how to change a tire ... then wait a week and have them do the same with no assistance. Nothing more frightening than my wife or daughter on the side of the road at night with a flat tire waiting for any amount of time for a service truck to show up ... and not knowing how to change a tire ... or even worse ... knowing how, but not having tools where anyone can easily remove a lug nut.

I also keep a can of Fix-a-Flat in the vehicle as well for the same reason ... but does not work with major punctures or sidewall damage.

Thank you to those who contributed to this thread.
I ordered and picked-up the missing tools for my GX today from my local dealer.
All slots are now filled. BTW as others have mentioned there is no longer any branding on the tools.
Their cost was less than buying online with shipping.

I tell my daughters get off the road or highway. And drive slow into a well-lighted area. Their lives aren't worth the hundreds of dollars for a destroyed tire and a messed-up rim.

Just in case anyone else was looking here are the part numbers and what I paid.

Pliers 09130-50030 $26.92
8-10 Spanner Wrench 09141-50050 $7.71
12-14 Spanner Wrench 09141-50060 $9.04
Spark Plug Wrench 09155-74010 $7.63
How did you acquire the part numbers? We just bought used 2013 GX and it seems I missing the socket shown. Anyone know this part number?
I went through the LexusPartsNow website and this one does not even come up for RELATED PARTS... seems all the other ones do show up.

That is the "key socket" for anti-theft wheel nuts, the socket is unique to the locking nuts on your wheels so no specific part number.

Just found it buried in the center console... thank you!

Re: Pliers part number 09130-50030. Just looked this up at a dealership and it shows it being compatible to GX460 for 2010 model. Does anyone know if this will still fit in the 2023 slot in the tool kit?
