From what I read Michelin makes the X LT tire for wholesales clubs such as Sam's and Costco. When I was comparing all of the specs it was the same ( https://tires.costco.com/Tirecompari...029422,1028850). Also went on a few forums and a couple peeps said they called Michelin and they told them it was the same tire. So its a little cheaper then the Defender. With the last promo, installed at costco it was 870ish total and I get back 4% at the end of the year so even cheaper...

It's likely just to track stock and allow for greater price adjustments if there's a minimum market price retailers have to follow.
I just had Cooper Discoverer Rugged Trek 265/65/18 installed. The tire shop could not get the spare tire up. It is hitting the OEM Class IV hitch and KDSS bar. They tried tipping it forward and back to get a side tucked up with no luck.
I'll check the tire pressure, maybe lower that. I might have to grind down some edges on the OEM hitch or switch to the Curt Class III.
My ‘23 got her justice. Swapped out the luxury package 19” wheels for some 17x7 TRD Pros, 265/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers. Absolutely love it. Suspension is stock, not a single rub. Cheers!!
Just put some 18" Method 316 wheels and Yokohama Geolanders on my 2022 GX. I went with 265/60 R18 to ensure no rubbing. These have a +18 offset compared to the +25 stock wheels and fill out the wheel wells much better. I drive mostly highway with some light offroading so I wanted a quiet tire and these are every bit as quiet as stock.
For all the people who have the matte black TRD Pro wheels;
How are you caring for / cleaning them? It seems like the matte finish would be easy to screw up. Can you wax them or would that leave them glossy or covered in white?
Just had these thrown on today, went with the K/O2's on 17" Method 701's. Looks pretty good, kind of wish I would have gone with a larger tire, as I was trying to keep it as stock as possible and went with a 265/65/17, where I think a 265/70/17 would have been a little better to fill out the wheel well, but zero rubbing as it stands.

Are those the 18x9 (+18 offset) wheels? Any issue with rubbing on the inside face of the wheel/tire? Or fitment issues of the 265/60/18 tires?
I just bought a 2018 GX460 Premium. I'm looking to upgrade the rims. Has anyone tried putting the 22" Toyota rims on the gx460? The tire size is 285/45R22. Wheel size is 22x9 with offset 24 and a 6x5.5 bolt pattern. I've browsed through the rims and tires thread but figured someone may have already tried putting these on the gx460 that could answer.
Here's a link to help you visualize the size difference and effect on gearing. What are those 22" wheels off of?
Most on here would consider "upgrading" to mean larger tires, not larger wheels with less sidewall. I don't expect you'll find a lot of data from people putting 22" wheels on their GX's.

Thanks for the link. It looks like these are just a bit wider but almost the same clearance around. They're 22" and off a 2022 Tacoma I believe.
