Does anyone have any familiarity with the Pirelli SCORPION ALL TERRAIN PLUS tires ? Or even previous experience with the brand? I've never owned a Pirelli tire.

Seem to offer a pretty good balance of everything including the 3peak rating....

Never been a fan of Pierelli. Can't remember what vehicle I had them on but they weren't my favorite. For the cost much better tires out there IMHO.

I have the Pirelli on my 2011 and they are a big step up from the older Scorpion design. 265/65/18 on stock wheels and even the spare fits.

Well just pulled the trigger on the Nokian Rotiiva AT's. Picked them up brand new for less than $140 each and after reading more about them think they will be great for what we are looking for. Will report back on how they hold up and with initial driving impressions.

Where did you find this deal and what size did you decide to run?

Stock size. 265/60r18 I got them from speedy tire but looking at it know they are back up to $198 a tire.

My wife calls me cheap but I just like to find deals.

Here's the closet I can find right now

We are heading to Denver this week and I'm planning on getting them put on. There's plenty of snow so should be able to test them out.

You probably won't get to Denver from anywhere until Thursday/Friday. 12-32 inches currently and still coming down.

Appreciate the head ups. I'm coming down in my Jeep, it's been over the passes plenty of time in worse than what's there now. Will check later today and see. Wife went down last night before it got too crazy.

Default What screws did you use?

It rubbed twice on passenger side wheel well screw. I changed that to a more flush screw and has not rubbed since. I did a lot of research on this forum before buying that tire size. This is my first post and wanted to thank everyone here for the info.
I just got similar black rhinos, same exact size, and it’s definitely rubbing on that screw. Any chance you remember where you got the flatter screws? Thanks

Thats a heck of a deal. At that price I doubt you could have done any better. I'm curious your experience with them. I'm likely buying a set of the ht rotiivas for summer tires in the spring.

I got the tires mounted today. Slight ordeal doing so but they are on. Called les Schwab the other day and asked if they'd mount them they said they would and it was $17 a tire. Set up the appointment and went there this am. Guy says it will be $160 40/tire.....I just look at him and say what? Why a fortune? Guy says it's a new tire so its more........still just flabbergasted I say when I called the other day you all said it was $17 a tire he just says no and that I'm ill informed. Just left and went down to an other place I always used and they did it for $20/tire in a few hours.

Anywho haven't got a chance to drive on them yet. Will get a chance later.

Yeah Les Schwab sucks now. I live in Bend Oregon where they are based. Everything changed when Les died. It became very corporate and less family run shop. No wiggle room on anything.

Post a pic of them installed when you get the chance. I’ve been running a set of Nokian Z-Line A/S on my Subaru Legacy GT wagon and they were amazing tires. I am hoping for the same with these. Although the driving is different style I like the quality of the product and it’s durability.

$40/per is a joke.

I can go just about anywhere around here and its about $20/per.

anxiously waiting on your impressions. I plan on getting these for my summer tires
