Ridge Grapplers run slightly smaller than other brands of same size which is why you were able to squeeze without rubbing.

Does anyone know how Toyo Open Country A/T2's do in that regard? I've got my mind made up on those, probably 265/65/18.

Wheels finally showed up yesterday. Crazy long lead time for an instock wheel.. sema timing, Thanksgiving.. anyway they are here and I couldn't be happier; well maybe if they came with free tires and lug nuts..

Pictures don't do them justice. They don't show the how they just fall into the center hub. Im still debating on tires. HT or a conservative AT. 265/60/18 a 265/65/18?

Wow those look great! I really like my Ridge Grapplers. The are slightly louder than the stock HT but have the aggressive appearance of a MT. I highly recommend them.

Any reduction in mileage?

Also and reduced performance in rain. My wife is sensitive to how a vehicle handles in the rain

Seems the TRD pro 17in rims arent in favor anymore. Would love to see what tire size people put on them without any mods to adjust for rubbing.

Are Michelin Premiere LTX good options? They are lighter than stock tires.

Did you just swap tpms?

I plan on having two separate sets of wheels and tires. Want an easy-ish way to deal with the tpms. I was thinking clonable tpms. Not a whole lot of info on here about sensors. Maybe I buy oem and just buy the scan tool or techstream

@situman never heard anything about them... if I was gonna buy michelin it'd be the defender LTX M/S... they're still really light and have 70k warranty. uncle has them on his RAM 1500 and they're awesome street tire and even did light logging roads really well while towing a boat into the Canada bush for our fishing trip.

I don't calculate it out but I can tell it did take a hit.

They do just fine in the rain. I had K02's and those were horrible. These are much better.

Yes, I swapped TPMS. 2 sets of wheels and tires would be nice but in my area, I don't need em.

The defenders are actually heavier than even stock at 37lbs each. The Premiers are 33lbs each. Yea it isnt much but combined with the TRD pro rims, its a pretty significant savings in unsprung weight.

Anyone ever switch to these wheels and can share experience such as rubbing issues or does anyone have any photos of what they’d look like on our trucks? I’ve only seen pics of the other FJ wheels with the round holed ones.

Im open to other suggestions but I really like the oem wheel look and don’t want to go aftermarket. The trd pro wheels are nice but are near impossible to find and might as well get FN for what people ask for the oems.

Any update on these? I just picked up an identical set of 4Runner trail 17’s took off from '19 4Runner with 265/70R17 tires. How these rims doing so far? Can I just direct swap out or any modification needed?

Thanks for the feedback on the KO2's. I was thinking about getting a set but may scratch that thought.
What lug nuts are you using and how many turns on the studs are you getting on your TE's?
