Quick question. I put 265/70/18 Wildpeaks on my '17 about a month ago and made sure to do the fender liner mod before hand to ensure no rubbing, which worked out perfectly. However, I just got around to doing an alignment and the passenger side front tire rubs pretty bad on the UCA in reverse. I am only turning the wheel maybe 50% before it starts rubbing. Before the alignment, I could crank it 100% and have zero rub. Did they mess something up with the alignment??
messed something up by probably putting it back in-line. My stock UCA's had some nice shiny spots when I finally removed them from rubbing using the same tire size.

Good to know. Did switching to the aftermarket UCA correct the issue? Ended up ordering the Ironman kit due to the sale going on and will be getting new UCA with the kit.

I ordered a set of BC Forged wheels today and paid the 50% deposit. I should have the drawings tomorrow. The “drawings” will show me the lip size, concavity, etc. to ensure I’m happy with the look. Typically 3-5 weeks for delivery. We’ll see. I was seriously looking at Gram Lights; however, I wanted a wheel that was hubcentric (even though plenty of people told me they have zero issues with the larger bore).
I ordered the LE72 (2 piece forged) model in 18x9ET0 fitment. I chose the Brushed Dark Black finish for both the lip and center section with exposed Titanium hardware. The brushed finish is awesome looking. If you’ve never looked at BC Forged wheels, you should check them out. Lots of designs and wheel finishes and made to order specifically to your desired specs.
2017 GX460 with 20x9 Fuel D670s, 1mm offset, 275/55 R20 Venom Power Terra Hunter tires. There was quite a bit of rubbing that took about an hour to fix using a heat gun and basic tools, no cutting at all.
Got super lucky finding them on Craigslist for $1400, very lightly used with tires.

Here is a pic of the style I went with:
Looking forward to the pics! What tire size are you going with and where will the 0 ET put you at the fender wells?

I already have 265/65/18 Wildpeaks mounted on the OEM wheels. I chose 18x9ET0 bc that is the size people with Volk/Rays went with, so it should put me flush, maybe a tad outside. We’ll see. Notified today the wheel design got sent to production and they should be ready to ship in 3-5 weeks
Here is the drawing. Looks like I’ll have a 67.7mm (2.665”) lip
What tire pressure does everyone run on their trucks? I know the door jam says 32 psi...
i just bought a new set of tires (Michelin Defender LTX M/S, 265/60/18), and felt a noticeable improvement in the ride and handling (it had some fairly worn Goodyear Wranglers on before). What surprised me is that when I checked the pressure in the tires, the shop had set them all to 40 psi (sidewall reads a maximum of 44 psi). I can imagine the truck would ride even smoother if I dropped the pressure down to the Lexus recommended 32 psi...
Anyone else run their tires above the recommended pressure?

Running the same tires and I run them at 32 PSI. Perfect ride quality at that pressure.
For those that have installed a Dobinson medium suspension and UCA's on a 2015, what size tires are you running? I have done a search but am looking for pics as well.
I am having the Dobinson's kit and SPC UCA's installed at Main Line Overland next Thursday and was thinking about going up a size or two in tires. I currently have the stock rims which I will stick with for now and am running Cooper AT3 LT 265 65 18's. If you have gone up in size, could you also post some pics?
Believe it or not the wife is also pushing for the bigger tires!!!
I have a 2011 GX460 that is stock. On stock suspension and 18" rims what size A/T tires can I put on without rubbing issues? What is the largest I can go? If anyone has pictures would love to see.
I am sure this has been addressed before just looking for updated opinions.
265/65-18 ... same width, but 1-inch taller ... fills out the wheel well perfectly. Should have been the as-delivered size. Be aware that a taller tire may or may not fit in the spare tire location ... based on specific tire, and specific installed hitch.
