I wouldn’t go any larger than 22s. I went with 22 inch rims and 275/45/22 tires on my 2013 GX460. I had to use a small zip tie on the inner wheel well cover screw location to eliminate the slight rub.

They look like a passenger tire, behave on the street like a performance tire and are also surprisingly good in the dirt ...

I'm considering the defender lineup... there appears to be two different model options in the OEM size... m/s and m/s2 ... I guess the m/s is simply the newer version/generation... slightly heavier but warrantied to last 10,000 miles longer than m/s2, everything else appears the same.

For any tire, check the tires before they are mounted for the DOT Date of Manufacture molded in the sidewall ... many discount prices are dealers selling old inventory where the tires are sold "new" but are actually 2-3-4 years old after sitting in a warehouse. I will not accept a Date of Manufacture that is older than 12-months. The Michelin LTX M/S2 was replaced by the Michelin Defender LTX M/S ... so I assume the former is old(er) inventory.

I just installed a set of Michelin Defender LTX M/S on my '12 GX about 5 weeks ago, and am very satisfied with them. Quiet, good grip in dry and wet...

18x9 and 265/65’s for sale! SoCal
Mounted these but I don’t know. Doesn’t do it for me. No rub!! Looks beefy. Tires literally have 10 miles on them. Had them installed 8/22 and the rig has been in the garage since! Think I’m going to do 20’s next. Located in SoCal.

The Michelin latitude tour hp tires that came on the truck are wearing fast. I was thinking of replacing them before winter. We are mostly on road and have winter, live in northeast Wisconsin, and travel north to the U.P..
What has worked for you? I was looking at Continental crosscontact lx25 and the Nokian One HT. I don’t need a 80k tire. We put maybe 10k miles a year if we are lucky.
