2012 GX460 S-Sport with new Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain tires 265/65/18
Just got a new tires (265/65/18) for my old 2012 GX this week. I'm liking how it looks with slightly larger tires. I'm wondering what other simple mods that I can do that won't make it look too tricked out. Thinking maybe a luggage rack? Thoughts?

It's not a big deal but it does look more rugged to fill in the wheel-well and you do get slightly more cushion on rough road. For example, my SC430 came with 245/40/18 run-flats; by going with 245/45/18 non run flat all weather the comfort improved tremendously. Our situation is a little different but the same principles apply.

Tire Options for 19" Wheels
New owner of 2021 GX Luxury. The stock Dunlop AT23 Grandtrek 265/55-19 are poorly reviewed and unless I'm missing something there aren't many options out there. Is there anything else out here besides winter tires, Pirelli All Seasons and Conti Summer tires? Wiling to go 275 as long as there's no rub. Thanks in advance.

Hey guys,
I am seeing so many nice setups! Please keep them coming.
Quick question - for installation, do you guys take your GXs to chain stores like Discount Tire, or to specialized stores? I imagine it's not fun to have a nice setup and the truck vibrates ...

In the past, I went to discount tire bu but recently when I went there to put some wheels on my Tacoma, they refused to do it because the front lug nuts wouldn't get 7 full turns onto the wheel stud. If what I've read online is true, Toyota/Lexus studs are on the "shorter" end so YMMV based on wheel design and lug nut style.
